Here is a step by step process of how to configure your Outlook or Outlook Express to work correctly with Xaymaca.info servers, if you experence any problem please contact us.

How do I setup E-mail for Outlook Express?

If you are familiar with Outlook Express, please use the settings below for a step-by-step guide to setting up mail in Outlook Express.

Name: Your Name
E-Mail Address: Your E-mail Address
Incoming Mail (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
Account Name: you@yourdomain.com (Example: name@yourcompany.com)
Password: ******* (Use the password that you chose upon mailbox setup)

1. Open up Outlook Express
2.  Press Tools > Accounts


3.  Press Add > Mail...


4.  Type in your name as shown below. Hit Next.


5. Choose the 1st option and type in your e-mail address as shown below. Hit Next.


6. You must specify POP3 as the server type from the pull-down menu (default). The incoming mail server should be in the format "mail.yourdomain.com".  the outgoing mail server should be in the "mail.yourdomain.com" syntax as well. Hit Next.


7. Type in your account name. It should be EXACTLY the same as your domain name if you are registered with xaymaca.info. Your password will be the password you choose when creating the account. Hit Next.


8.  Click Finish. You're done!  Click "Send and Receive" to download your mail.

Note - if you have not yet modified your nameservers at your domain registrar's website, your e-mail will not function. Contact your domain registrar to modify your nameservers if you have not done so already.

Once you've done that, you will be able to receive mail through our mailserver. However, you must allow up to 36 hours AFTER your domain's initial registration date for your domain to become active.
