| Mixes of warm Caribbean sea and cold fresh Spring Water... |
You could nearly miss the turn off down a rough winding lane to the Blue Lagoon, so look out for the their sign!
Once there, it really is a tropical lagoon. Mixes of warm Caribbean sea and cold fresh spring water in the lagoon all add to the pleasure. An excellent laid back bar and restaurant with helpful friendly staff is at hand. The floating platform, kindly secured in the lagoon, is well placed to offer a passing swimmer a chance for some peaceful meditation in the Jamaican sunshine. The lagoon is about 210 feet deep, and diving competitions are often held. Diving courses, boat and equipment hire are available. On the return journey, if you have any energy left, its worth a stop at the pretty Somerset Falls. Getting home around 10pm, still floating from the effects of these beautiful natural spa treatments! sleep that night contained many sweet dreams. ENTER THE BLUE LAGOON
